I greatly enjoyed using the Web 2.0 Tools this semester. Each tool helped me tremendously by making my life must easier with the variety of uses they offer. I am very happy that I was introduced to these tools this semester. I plan to use them when I enter the work force. I will rank my favorite tools from what I personally consider the best to the ones that I did not find very useful.
1st Place
Dropbox: Dropbox is an online web application where you can store files and access them from any computer, at anytime. I used Dropbox to store my College documents, personal photos, music, and videos. It is so useful in this day and age especially in the event your computer crashes or you simply don't want to carry around a USB or hard disk around all the time. It is by far my favorite online cloud storage software to store personal files because of how easy it is to use the program.

Google Drive: I used Google Drive mainly for my college work. Google Drive allows me to store documents, audio, & videos. I used it for all my courses this semester. I found that this was the best program to use for my college related work.

Google Docs: I accessed Google Docs through Google Drive. Google Docs allowed me to share files with my group members and collaborate simultaneously on projects. As a student it was very helpful because we were able to work on projects together without us all being physically present. I will definitely be using Google Docs in the future to collaborate with my collegues on different tasks.

Prezi: I used Prezi for all my presentations since conducting a training session for my previous project. I prefer to use Prezi instead of traditional powerpoint presentations because of the cool designs and dynamic movement features. Now that I have mastered how to use Prezi, I doubt that I will ever make another powerpoint presentation again.

Google Calendar: Google Calendar allowed me to keep all my upcoming events organized. I used it especially for college deadlines and events. I will continue to use Google Calendar in the work place and also to keep track of personal occasions. I could always count on it to help me make sure that i'm at the right place, at the right time.

Blogger: Blogger is a great website where you can share absolutely anything you want- from photos to videos. It is completely free and literally takes minutes to set up. I found that it was user friendly and allowed me to create a blog that totally fit my personality and style. I am a fashion blogger on Tumblr and I greatly enjoyed learning about another type of blogging website. Click here to access my personal blog.

Google Chrome: I enjoyed using Google Chrome because it is a fast browser and offers a variety of fun apps that I can access instantly. I had been using Safari prior to Google Chrome. I found that Chrome was substantially faster and overall better to use.

Google Sites: Google Sites is a website where you can create your own sites. I enjoyed using it because it is easy to customize the design of your web page and it is moderately simple to use. However, I did notice that there are some limitations when it came to adjusting the layout of the page because it didn't allow me to format the exact width of the columns.

Google+: I enjoyed using Google+ because it helped me stay connected with myclassmates as well as stay up-to-date with my favorite celebrities. I particularly liked the video chat's various features. I thought it offered more than Skype.

Diigo: I liked using Diigo for my research projects. It was so useful because it allowed me to bookmark important web pages. I was able to highlight text and write on sticky notes in order to keep track of all the required information I need for my research.

Picasa: I liked using Picasa to edit my images. The program offers a wide range of cool effects and is very simple to navigate. I will definately continue to use it for my personal photography as well as my Photo Essay for my final photography project.

G-Mail: I liked using G-Mail because it had a very neat minimalistic appearance which makes it user friendly. G-Mail is great e-mail application that provides a pleasant mail experience. I liked the filter feature in particular. I also liked how G-Mail made is easy for me to keep my mails organized. However, because I had already been using hotmail for many years, it was a little difficult making the transition to G-Mail because all of my contacts were already familiar to my Hotmail account. I do plan to use G-mail more when I enter the work force.
