A Little Piece of History

Joe DiMaggio passed away March 8th, 1999. He was Marilyn’s greatest love and closest friend. Aside from a rough marriage and a heartbreaking divorce, there were no two people that were as in love as Marilyn and Joe. Since the passing of Marilyn in 1962, Joe had dozens of roses brought to her grave every week for 20 years. He never married again. No one could replace his only love. His last words were “I’ll finally get to see Marilyn.”

Emma Watson Graduates From Brown University

The famous Harry Potter star graduated from Brown University with a degree in English Literature. I admire how even after she gained fortune and fame she still appreciated her education. We should never take our education for granted and always strive to acquire more knowledge not only academically but about the world around us. I found this quote of hers quite inspiring:

"I was very well educated. My dad paid me to go to a very good school but, you know, when my parents divorced, we didn’t have any money for a while. My birthday present was my school uniform and my pencil cases. I think that’s one of the reason why my education means so much to me. It’s because my dad really couldn’t afford to send me to this school. At the time we just didn’t have the money. And so I worked hard every single day that I was at that school to make him proud of me and for him to know that I appreciated it. And I do, and I still do."

ABOUT US

WHO ARE WE?

Teens Talk Middle East is a program that was created for the youth of the Middle East region.  It started as a  YouTube show and it has since then developed into an internship program that helps teens create events for teens that cover the grey areas between school-life and university.  Teens Talk ME strives to empower teens with skills to become stronger support systems for their peers and to become more emotionally conscious members of society whilst giving them a voice and an opportunity to be heard and understood. We want to provide teens with a platform to discuss the issues & challenges that teens are exposed to today. We have real conversations with real teens.

SO, WHAT’S NEXT?

Teens Talk Middle East is fast becoming a popular teen hub amongst teens, parents and schools in the UAE.  We hope to keep creating positive awarenesses for teens and we hope to continue empowering teens with a voice.  Teens Talk Middle East strives to grow its’ participant support to the entire Gulf Region with audiences watching from around the globe.  Season #1 gave us the spotlight, Season #2 will give us the power to connect with teens all over the Middle East and beyond.
